Grand Island, Neb. — You can give your child a Major League experience by registering them for the 2025 MLB® Pitch Hit & Run™ program.
The free, one-day competition is for boys and girls, ages 7 to 14 years old. The event will start at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30 at the Webb Road Fields at 1396 S. Webb Road.
Winners will advance through the program for a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip for them and a guardian to compete during the World Series. There are a total of four age divisions for both baseball and softball programs.

7 & 8 years old
9 & 10 years old
11 & 12 years old
13 & 14 years old
Athletes will be tested and scored in the pitch, hit and run categories. Based on their scores, they can advance to a Team Championship, which will be held in MLB stadiums. Winners there advance to the National Finals, which takes place during the World Series.
